MISCARRIAGE ASSOCIATION
The Miscarriage Association is a charity that was founded in 1982 by a group of individuals who had experienced miscarriage, and they continue to offer support and information to anyone who has been affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy. They campaign to aim to raise awareness, and to promote good practice in medical care. They offer a range of support in the forms of a direct helpline, forums, e-newsletters and more. The Shout 85258 is a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone struggling to cope. They launched their charity in May 2019, and have had more than 1,000,000 conversations with people who are either anxious, stressed, depressed, overwhelmed or suicidal and who need immediate support.
